National award winning actor Prakashraj and reigning actress Bhumika (also spelty Bhoomika) are acting together in an offbeat Telugu film, which is likely to be titledKotta Bandham with the tagline 'Meeru Naku Artham Kaaru'.Prakashraj plays the role of a District Collector, while Bhumika plays an MBA graduate in this rather unusual story, which marks the debut of director Tekula Kriapakar Reddy, who is also the producer.
Although Prakashraj and Bhumika have worked together in several films earlier, this is the first time they are pairing together in lead roles. (Prakashraj played the villain in several films in which Bhumika was the heroine.)
The story revolves around this couple and how their ideas and opinions clash after marriage. The film has dialogues by Parachuri Brothers. Efforts are being made to release the film in December.
