Hindi Film @ Opening Wonders In Hyderabad

It was with great hype and hoopla that the film ‘Kurbaan’ was promoted and released last Friday. Well, the fact that the real life love birds Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor were coming together for the first time on the screen as reel life lovers was fuel enough to get many crowds to the theatres. However, the film hit the screens and while all thought that it would have a rocking take off, the film got rocked badly and there has been a weak response right on the first day itself. There were few good reviews from critics as well but it appears that even they have not been of much use. While some say that the audience wouldn’t be keen on such an intense and sensitive subject, there are those who say that the film lacked enough voltage to keep the audience intact. Even Hyderabad, which is known for its warm approach towards Bollywood flicks kept the makers in wonder.
