It appears that the Telugu film industry is currently in a dire situation and one look at the box office will give you the picture. Top on the chair is the Hollywood movie ‘2012’ and it has been standing in the same position since last week. Then there is ‘Ek Niranjan’ which has been working real hard to make its presence felt but in vain. Sources say that even ‘Village Lo Vinayakudu’ has not been able to draw the expected amount of audience. ‘Kurradu’ came in with expectations but crashed miserably at the box office. ‘A Aa E Ee’ came and disappeared in no time. ‘Bendu Apparao RMP’ managed few smiles with success and has made profits. So now, all eyes are on ‘Arya 2’ that holds some promise and even the Tollywood members are praying it clicks at the box office. |
