He is known as one of the hottest directors of the Telugu film circuit and till recently, he held the record for coming up with the biggest blockbuster in Tollywood history. He is none other than Puri Jagannadh but right now, he seems to be in a bit of financial crunch.
Sources from film nagar are buzzing that Puri has actually pledged his house for an estimated Rs 5 crores and many are wondering why he had to take this step. Some are suspecting that he is doing this to make up for the ‘Neninthe’ fiasco which was made at very high budget and an ambitious scale.
Puri is currently busy with the shooting of his new movie ‘Golimaar’ and it is a rather crucial one for him. Strictly speaking, the Tollywood trade pundits say that he has not been able to deliver one success after ‘Pokiri’ and all his ventures created a lot of hype but no stuff when they hit the screens.
