Daggubati On Top And Bottom

Here is a small rundown on the top five films this week.

1. Leader:
Leader is leading the pack. The film is enjoying its first weekend and so being at the top of the pack does not come as a surprise. Daggubati RaNa’s charismatic presence and Sekar Kummala’s direction is drawing the crowds to the theaters. Students are especially patronizing this film. But mixed talk is in vogue anyway. The collections in coming week decide the fate of this film.

2. Kedi:
Despite the weak story and lackluster screenplay, Nag fans are pulling this film forward. Nagarjuna’s style statements which are his hallmark are some saving grace for the film. Mamta Mohandas disappoints.

3. Bindaas:
It is a surprise entrant. Manchu Manoj seems to be coming into his own! Surely the film is worth a watch for his histrionics. The comedy in the film is also good. The film is raking in decent moolah at the box office.

4. Yuganiki Okkadu:
Despite being a niche film Yuganiki Okkadu is doing Okay, as it is attracting the young male crowd. The females are avoiding this film. Despite being a dubbed film it is doing fine because of the good publicity. Some extensive and good graphics are helping the film sustain the BO and be at number 4.

5. Namo Venkatesa:
It is the unexpected 5th. Despite some lukewarm response in the initial days of its release, the film has managed to hold on to its own. Thanks to Venkatesh’s good performance and Trisha’s sexy appearance the film is doing well and the producers are laughing all the way to the bank.
