Tollywood’s True Colors Revealed In Padmanabham Issue

The film world is a faint glimmer of shining glass and beyond that lies a dark world of selfishness and mean natures. Atleast that’s the feeling many got after the recent incident. Yes, we are talking about the sad demise of the iconic comedian Padmanabham who ruled the roost during his peak.

For someone who has done more than 500 films and teamed up with the legends of Telugu cinema, not one worthy soul came to pay last respects during the last journey. Padmanabham had been going through severe financial crunch during his last days and the rich Telugu industry failed to bother even once about him.

The only solace was found in the presence of two notable names in the form of veteran Sarada and singer S P Balasubramanyam. These are few examples that show how the Telugu film industry has been demonstrating its commercial nature not just in reel life but also in real life. Forgive them if you can Padmanabham garu….
