Avatar nabs four Golden Globes

The magnum opus ‘Avatar’ shook the box office globally by collecting Rs 19, 000 crores in the first week of its release, says reports from Hollywood. This spectacular film directed by James Cameron has now been nominated in four categories of the 67th Golden Globe Awards for 2010. They are Best Motion Picture-Drama, Best Director (James Cameron), Best Original Score (James Horner) and Best Song (“I Will See You”). Another nominee of Golden Globes is “Julie and Julia” for Best Motion Picture-Comedy and Best performance in a motion picture-Comedy (Meryl Streep). On TV side Fox’s “Glee” also led with four nominated. The award ceremony will take place at Los Angels on January 17, 2010.
