Narra Venkateswara Rao passes away

Telugu actor Narra Venkateswara Rao (62) passed away at his residence on December 27. He had been suffering from cancer.

The actor, popular for his villainous roles, had acted in over 500 films.

Venkateswara Rao made his debut with 'Mallela Manasu.' His hit films include 'Badrachalam,' 'Tholi Prema,' 'Osey Ramulamma,' 'Erra Sainyam,' 'Karthavyam,' 'Praja Theerpu,' 'Manchi Donga,' 'Prathigatana,' Repati Paurulu,' Kalikalam,' 'Aruna Kiranam,' 'Desamlo Dongalu Paddaru,' 'Neti Bharatham,' 'Talli Koothullu,' 'Viplava Sankham,' and 'Yuvatharam Kadilindi.'

Of late he was found more inclined towards communist based performances directed by Narayana Murthy and this apart he has also become very much attached to television performances and his best was seen in ‘Kalyani’.
