Nag’s latest flick ‘Kedi’ has many interesting aspects. The first being Nag in a role that we have never seen him before. His characterization is molded in various shades and the audiences get to see a new Nag in ‘Kedi’. The ‘Ringa Ringa’ fame in Arya 2, Linda is essaying a prominent role in this film too while we get to see Mamta Mohandas in a female lead role for the first time. So far Mamta did only second heroine roles in Telugu films. This apart, ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ fame Ankur is playing the villain in ‘Kedi’. Above all, D Sivaprasad Reddy’s Kamakshi Kala Movies banner is going to complete its Silver Jubilee Year in 2010. Last but not the least, Nag was felicitated by the Greece Tourism Department recently.
‘Kedi’, being directed by a new director is currently progressing at Hyderabad with a song shoot. The last song will be picturised from January 4 after which the audio launching programme is likely to take place. Sandeep Chowta is providing the musical scores. Remember, there are many hits like ‘Ninne Pelladuta’, ‘Chandralekha’ and ‘Super’ in Sandeep-Nag combination, so there are high expectations on this film’s audio too. ‘Kedi’ is getting ready for a Sankranthi release.
