The noted ghazal maestro Dr Ghazal Srinivas is all set to add another feather to his cap. He has been chosen to receive the prestigious ‘Telugu Tejam’ award and this is being organized by the noted Indian Telugu Association which is based in Chennai.The event is happening on the 26th of January ie the Republic Day and the venue is Sri Krishna Gana Sabha in T Nagar, Chennai. Some of the noted dignitaries of Chennai such as the Commissioner of Income Tax, High Court Judge and other celebrities are gracing the occasion.
The felicitation will also be preceded by a live concert from Ghazal Srinivas and this is a good opportunity for all the Telugus and music lovers to make the most of it. Known for his message of world peace, it is indeed a worthy appreciation for Dr Ghazal Srinivas. Previously this ward was conferred to Padmabhushan P Susheela and Mr KG Rao, former election commissioner of India.
