Siddarth, the young hero of India (yes we need to call Indian actor as he made his presence felt everywhere be it Tamil, Telugu or Hindi), is now awaiting the film ‘Striker’. He says that he plays the role of caroms champion in it. Hence the title, ‘Striker’, indeed. He said that he met and learned caroms professionally from about 300 caroms players and also observed various mannerisms and techniques from them. He says, “It is the skill in striking and also the ability of reading the mind of opponent, that matters big in caroms where the second one is difficult”. He also said that Yuvan Shankara Raja worked damn hard for scoring music to this flick and he sang in Hindi for the first time. And the credit of making Yuvan sing in Hindi goes to Siddarth anyway. When asked about his directorial debut, he said that right now his focus is on acting but certainly he will direct a movie only when suitable script comes to him. When asked about Shruthi Hasan he said, “She is my good friend and I’m glued to her. I’m single right now”. So that makes lady fans of Sid breathe happily. Finally he said that he is awaiting good opportunities from down south and Bava is the one that is in making in Telugu right with him as lead. |
