Star Night to help flood victims

The Tollywood film fraternity has decided to hold a Star Night on November 7 at Gachibowli stadium, Hyderabad for the benefit of the flood hit victims in the state, it was announced by a group of filmmakers including Dasari Narayana Rao, Balakrishna, Keeravani, Ananth Sriram and Koti during a press meet in the capital.


Dasari said that the event would witness the participation of one and all in the industry, while some noted personalities from Kannada and Tamil would also be making their presence. "Those who donate Rs. 5 lakh and above for the cause of the flood victims would be presented with a memento on stage by Chief Minister Rosaiah," he said.


During the occasion, Dasari Narayana Rao released the CD of Spandana. The CD aiming to express solidarity with the flood victims, was written by Ananth Sriram with music by Keeravani.
