Dynamic director Gunasekhar has reportedly reached the end of his movie ‘Varudu’ and now he is beginning to embark on a rather ambitious venture. News is that Guna is doing groundwork for a new movie and this will be ‘Rudrama Devi’ which will be made at a very ambitious scale.
Apparently, the director had wanted to come up with a story on Gona Gannareddy based on the book written by Adavi Bapiraju. But it seems that few scenes were already seen in movies like ‘Simhasanam’ etc. So Guna wants to go for Rudrama as Gannareddy was her army commander.
Anushka is the one in mind for him but given the backdrop craze that he has, Gunasekhar is waiting for a producer who can shell out around Rs 40 cr. It seems his gut feeling is that it will beat the mega blockbuster ‘Magadheera’. But the big question is…who will be the producer?
