‘Yugaaniki Okkadu’ to be 40 mins shorter!

Sri Raghavan’s new film ‘Yugaaniki Okkadu’ is going to release on February 5th. The original version in Tamil was titled ‘Aayirithil Oruvan’ and it was released on January 14th. Although the film created a lot of buzz because of the art and visual effects in the film, the producers decided to censor almost 20 mins of the film to attract more family crowds to watch the film. The latest buzz is that the Telugu Version ‘Yuganiki Okkadu’ will be trimmed by almost 40 minutes compared to the original version to suit the Telugu nativity. The film is based on a lost tribe belonging to the last king of Chola Empire in the 12th Century. Sri Raghava, who directed films like Adavari Matalaki Ardhale Verule, 7/G Brindavan Colony, has directed this film. The film stars Karthi Sivakumar, Reema Sen and Andrea Jeremiah. The story of the film is said to be based on a lost tribe and how a rescue mission turns out to be clash of civilizations. The film has been made with a budget of Rs.40 crores and it’s a scientific fantasy shot across Hyderabad, Rajasthan and Kerala. Dream Valley Corporation is producing the film. R.Ravindran is presenting it. Karthi Shivakumar is the brother of Surya who acted in films like Ghajini, Ghatikudu. Karthi’s earlier film ‘Paruthiveeran’ is a national award winning film.
