Nagarjuna shared his views on promotion campaigns that stars do in Bollywood. When asked to explain why the Tollywood stars are not so aggressive in promoting their films unlike Bollywood starts, he explained logically and practically, “Bollywood films cater to large set of audience for which they need to market aggressively to make their film reach every corner. But here in Tollywood we cater only small set that’s restricted to a region. So a normal advertising phenomenon is more than enough”.
When asked how he compares himself with Ameer Khan, he said “Ameer Khan is obsessed but I’m only passionate”, He elaborated it saying “He is fixated on his every film and hence he promotes it like an aggressive marketing guy. But I’m not so. But still I’m open for marketing if anyone comes up with a logical reason why I should market and how it effects”.
Nag said that he is good at cooking and love to spend time in kitchen experimenting something when time permits. His other favorite past time is working out.
Nag also said that he is going to hit Tamil screen with Dil Raju shortly. He is acting along with Prakash Raj in a bilingual that may see Nagarjuna dubbing in Tamil with his own voice. That would be his second Tamil film after Rakshakan (Rakshakudu in Telugu).
When asked about Kedi, he said, he never likes gambling but his role is so. He added saying that he used to play teen-patti in marriages and other get-togethers just for some fun.
Nag finally said that he likes to be a star than an actor as star-image will always be comfortable right from budget part to attention-seeking. Yes, very practical again. He admitted that even stars have to bite the mud if they are not alert and attentive of what they are playing on screen.
