‘Phoonk’ fame Sudeep who is on a high following his latest Bollywood flick ‘Rann’ alongside none other than Amitabh Bachchan says that media exposure and publicity is for those who are not well known. Once a person establishes himself, he isn’t in need of any publicity. ‘Moreover, I consider publicity is done for a product not for an actor’, he says. Sudeep said ‘when you get to act opposite such a big star and a seasoned professional like Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, you do tend to get overwhelmed and more so when your character is in direct contrast to his. However, that can never be an excuse. At the end of the day you have to deliver whatever is expected of you that’s it.’ ‘I have never dreamt that I will one day work in Bollywood films and that too alongside an actor like Amitabh Bachchan but Ramu sir had other plans and he cast me again in a Bollywood flick means that I have lived up to his expectations’, adds Sudeep. |
