Devotional film Swami Manikanta launched

Anaswara Productions has launched a devotional film ‘Swamy Manikanta’ at Sarathi Studios today morning. This film in the direction of Vijilishmani had its muhurat in the hands of political leaders. While Congress senior leader Purushotham Rao sounded the clap board, BJP leader switched on the camera and TDP leader Aravind Kumar Gaud handed over the script to the director.

The Owner of Andhra Prabha magazine, Vijay Babu said, “It turned out to be a pleasant sight to see the leaders from all political parties in this launching ceremony. The producers of this film are going to donate Rs 1 lakh to the CM relief fund for flood victims. My son, Kaushik, is playing the lead role along with Suman and Saikiran. He was chosen by the director and producer after watching an episode of a devotional serial in which he portrayed the role of an Ayyappa Swamy devotee. Vijilishmani has directed many films in Malayalam and now, he is going to direct this film in Telugu as well as Malayalam.”

Suman said that he received Best Villian award from Tamil Nadu government. He said that he is portraying yet another God’s role in this film and expressed his happiness to work with Sai Kiran and Kaushik. Director informed that the shooting would be done at Ramoji Film City and Sabhari Malai.
