It is a common perception that actors uttering dialogues on the screen are from a script they rehearse but then the Telugu industry is blessed to have few actors especially in the comedy department who seem to be blessed by Goddess Saraswathi.
They are quite spontaneous and once they get into the rhythm, the writers have to amend scripts to suit the dialogues. Even big writers also tend to alter their script since the comedians improvise the scene and dialogue then and there. Some of the noted comedians in that category are Brahmi, Krishna Bhagawan, Sunil, Venu Madhav, Ali etc.
A line like ‘no jaffdas only kufflis’ by Ali in ‘Bendu Apparao’ is something only possible by our Telugu folks. They are gifted and have a unique talent. Now, all this was revealed at a discussion that happened at film nagar club and talking about this were two producers and two directors who expressed the same opinion.
