The ‘Jai Ho’ fever appears to be not dying that soon. Instead of sweets and crackers AR Rahman has been greeted with yet another award for this Diwali. On Saturday, the 17th of October, 2009, this maestro’s work in ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ received an award “The Best Original Song Written For Film†at the 9th World Soundtrack Awards held at de Bijloke, Gent, the city of music lovers in Belgium. This prestigious award from 36th Ghent Film Festival will no doubt add color to the proud showcase which is already glittering with twin Oscars.
