It has been a while since filmbuffs saw chirpy Charmme shake a leg in an item song. The pretty star has just done an item number in Mahatma which is being talked about quite a bit these days.
Charmme claims that the only reason she agreed to do the song sequence was for her mentor Krishna Vamsi. "It's always an honour to work with him. I can't say 'no' even if he asks me to do a single scene appearance for a film," she says. She describes the number Dailamo Dailamo where she matched actor Srikanth, as "foot-tapping." She also feels that "celebrity item numbers are usually meant to be crowd-pullers," and says she's proud that she's been "selective" about the special song-dance numbers she has done for films so far.
