Reel Talk: Line clear for 'Magadheera'

The magnum blockbuster ‘Magadheera’ which has been ruling the roost at the box office might well be repeating its magic for the awards events as well next year. Apparently, there was a talk that ‘Arundhati’ might be the stiff rival for Rajamouli’s film. However, the rule says that awards are given as per the censor certification date. That made ‘Arundhati’ part of the 2008 releases although it reached theatres on 15th Jan 2009. So now, the stage looks clear for ‘Magadheera’ to romp home with all the awards. Some say that ‘Magadheera’ would be scoring a record there as well. For now, the film has gone miles ahead of the rest of the movies in the Telugu circuit. All that remains to be seen is how many awards and what categories would be waiting for it.
