Ramana Gogula summoned in cheating case

Noted Telugu music director Ramana Gogula, who recently produced the Telugu filmBoni with Sumanth under his Green Mangoes banner in association with Green Gold Cinema Private Limited, was summoned for questioning by the Hyderabad Detective Department officials on Thursday in a case of financial misappropriation.
Earlier, the owners of Green Gold Cinema Private Limited lodged a private complaint with a local court alleging that Gogula had misappropriated huge funds invested by them in the film. They allege that Ramana misused funds close to three crores in the film and is now refusing to give the detailed accounts.
Following the directions of the court, the DD officials registered a case and called him to ascertain facts. He was let off after interrogation. Speaking to the media, Cyber Crime Cell official Iqbal said: “We have filed a case against Ramana Gogula for economical irregularities related to the film Boni. Further investigation into the case is on."
