Lyricist's 'Marketing Game' With TV Channel


Publicity is one thing that is really important in the entertainment industry but cheap publicity stunts is something which really irks many if one gets to realize it. Something like that seems to be the case with ZEE 24 hrs channel.
The last few days has seen a song that was being played in the channel. This goes ’Anitha o Anitha…’ and the channel created a major hungama about the lyricist and speculated that he is missing. The song was played repeatedly causing major annoyance to the viewers.
Finally, the mystery got revealed and it was one Nagaraju who hailed from Karimnagar. Reliable sources say that all this was one marketing game used by the channel and all this looked very dramatic just to gain publicity. Well, both Nagaraju and the channel might have to wait for few brickbats now.  It is also said that there is some naxal background for Lyricist Nagaraju for which the ZEE 24 Hrs channel succumbed for promoting him on demand.
