Four films have hit the screen for this Sankranthi- Adurs, Om Shanti, Namo Venkatesa and Sambho Siva Sambho. Adurs starring Jr NTR was released amidst lot of uncertainties and tensions due to Telangana agitation. Initially the tension prevailed in Telangana region as the producers belong to coastal AP. When Jr NTR appeared in media and said that he was born and brought up in Hyderabad and he belongs to the place, the film has suffered tensions at a few coastal places like Nuzivudu. However, the movie released and stood as average runner. The hype resulted in big openings and huge sales of black tickets ever known in recent times. |
