Rajinikanth’s films always bring in a ton of expectations not only from his fans but from others as well when he joins hands with yet another experimenting and at the same time the successful director like Shankar. The expectation gets multiplied. So ‘Yantram’ is the movie which is generating all kinds of ripples much before its release. The movie uses robotics much in the lines of Hollywood flicks.
In this film Rajinikanth plays a dual role which is already known, one being scientist and the other a Robot with sixth senses. This Robot is created by the scientist. Due to its sixth sense this Robot stands apart from other Robots seen so far in different movies. Now, naturally due to this additional ability this Robot shows affection and hence falls in love with the female lead (Aishwarya Rai) here.
Well! There are villains who realize the value of this Robot and try to sabotage the project which is ultimately saved by the scientist Rajinikanth. Though we have seen such movies in Hollywood, director Shankar is jubilant about having created a different theme with enough Indian touch. Let’s wait and watch what special Robot he has created.
