| Movie Review : Shambo Shiva Shambo Rating : 3/5 Banner : Sri Sai Ganesh Productions Cast : Ravi Teja, Priyamani, Abhinaya, Allari Naresh, Shiva Balaji,Sunil and Others Music : Sunder C Babu Cinematography : P G Muttaiah Producer: Bellamkonda Suresh Director: Samudhirakani Released Date: January 14, 2010 Story: A gripping tale, the story is about three friends Karna (Ravi Teja), Malli (Naresh) and Chandu (siva balaji) who can do anything for each other. They also have their own goals to achieve. Karna has to get a government job to marry his 'Maradalu' (Priyamani), Malli wants to go abroad and Chandu wants to set up a computer institute, he is also in love with Karna's sister (abhinaya). The story takes a turn when Karna's friend Santosh (surya) comes to him and asks for help. He is in love with Prabha (naina), daughter of a Kurnool factionist (mukesh rishi). Karna and friends risk their lives and help Prabha and Santosh. In this process, the three friends lose very important things. What happens after that forms the rest of the story. Presentation: The director has come up with an intense storyline and both the presentation and narrative were good. The dialogues were neat, the script was deep and the screenplay was fabulous. Background score was energetic and two songs were very good. Cinematography was masterly and the editing was crisp. Costumes suited the occasion and the art department was alright. Ravi Teja does a rather matured role in this one and he did his job well, Allari Naresh has given an outstanding performance and he is very talented, Siva Balaji was elegant. Priyamani gave a towering performance, she is really good, Abhinaya was effective. Mukesh Rishi, Roja were okay, Ahuti Prasad, Chandra Mohan, Kota did their bit as required. Surya Teja and Naina were as required. Conclusion: The film is the remake of the Tamil super hit movie 'Nadodigal' but still it has managed to maintain the Telugu flavor. While the first half comes out with very well, it is the second half that drags a bit during the climax but picks up in the end. Overall, the film is quite intense and picks up at a slow pace and builds momentum. The content part is very strong and the rustic feel involves the audience in a big way. The elements of friendship, love, sacrifice etc were conveyed very well. The film is a strong material to reach the super hit mark but then it would require a positive word of mouth. Youth and family audience will like it. Bharatstudent Verdict : Intense and emotional, worth watching |
