Rahman’s conservatory reaches international standards

Madras Mozart’s KM Music Conservatory in Chennai is all set to reach international standards. The music school now boasts of international faculty brought from various parts of the world, all of them products of the most prestigious schools of music.

The faculty consists of alumni of the Boston Conservatory, the University of California, the Trinity College, the Royal College of Music and many other such esteemed institutions. The conservatory, of which Rahman is the principal, offers course programmes affiliated to the Middlesex University.

The programmes include a preparatory programme (2-5 years), a foundation programme (1-2 years), a degree programme (3 years) and a diploma programme (2 years).

With such an imposing lineup of musicians in the faculty, the quality of musical instruction available at the KM Music Conservatory is beyond doubt of international standard.

The conservatory aims to offer education in both Indian and Western music, besides music technology. Its mission is to provide students with a strong artistic, intellectual, and technical foundation.
