This is perhaps one of the darkest times for the Telugu film industry and all those who are associated with it. The second largest film industry in the country is currently reeling under heavy losses, thanks to the mindless acts of few crooked politicians and their vandalism. Reports are saying that collections are there only for two movies – Avatar and 3 Idiots. The proper releases during this time were ‘Kasko’ which bombed miserably without a trace and ‘Maa Naana Chiranjeevi’ which is actually good but lost out due to poor publicity. There is nothing happening this week as well as all of them have stocked up their releases for the Sankranthi festival. Though this could be due to the sentiment or whatever reason, the market pundits predict that it will surely affect the collections of the big budget flicks due to the traffic jam. |
