Killer completes shooting

Gadde Sindhura’s suspense thriller ‘Killer’ has successfully completed its shooting part with the last song shoot at Ramoji Film City. Directed by Nagesh Naradasi and produced by Kiran under Srinivasa Creations banner the film is gearing up with post production works. The audio launch will take place some time in March and the film will be released in April. Madhu K Naidu is the cameraman and Sai Karthik is the music composer.

Shraddha Das’s Lahore on Mar 19th

Shraddha Das who recently appeared as a second fiddle to Kajal Agarwal in Allu Arjun’s ‘Arya 2’, iss getting ready with yet another film ‘Maro Charitra’, a Dil Raju’s production to be released shortly. This apart, the beautiful lady is making her debut in a Bollywood flick ‘Lahore’ under the direction of Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan.

‘Lahore’, a Sai Om Films Pvt. Ltd’s maiden venture is due for release on March 19th and its music composed by M M Keeravani (well known as M M Kreem in Bollywood) was recently released in the market. With Aanaahad, Nafisa Ali, Nirmal Pandey, Farouque Shaikh, Aasish Vidyarthi, Mukesh Rishi and Kelly Dorji as her co-stars, she is playing the Pakistani girl by name Ida. ‘Lahore’ said to be the most authentic sports film ever made in India. According to sources there is a lot of scope for her to give her best performance to prove her talent. So let’s wish her Good Luck for her debut in Bollywood.

Meera Jasmine’s Moksha at Ramoji Film City

National award winner Meera Jasmine is currently portraying a leading role in the film titled ‘Moksha’. Directed by Srikanth Vemulapalli and produced by Amarnath Reddy under Amarnathan Movies banner, this heroine centric film belongs to horror genre. Rajeev Mohan is playing the male lead. Shooting is presently progressing at Ramoji Film City where the producer, director as well as Meera Jasmine spoke to the media and briefed the film’s details.

Says director Srikanth, “The interesting story and thrilling screenplay is the main strength to ‘Moksha’. There are unexpected twists and turns in this film. Graphics play a vital role.”

Meera Jasmine said, “This is the first time I am essaying a role like this which I never did in my past. The directing is shaping up the film with fresh concept. The film will appeal interesting from frame to frame. This would be a different film in horror genre.”

Producer Amarnath Reddy said, “Meera Jasmine is playing for the first time in this kind of heroine centric film made on horror backdrop. Her role is the main attraction. The shooting is being done at Ramoji Film City for the past two months. After the completion of this schedule, the climax and songs would be left out for shooting. We are planning to complete them at Chennai. This is our first production film and I hope the audience will see and appreciate it.”

Rest of the cast is Nazar, Rahul Dev, Sana, Disa, Kadhal Sukumar, Vijay Bhaskar, etc.

Charmi's Mayagadu coming soon

'Mayagadu’ is a family entertainer featuring Venu and Charmi under Dileep Polan’s direction.With Music by Chakri, the film with loads of comedy elements is currently in DTS mixing. Venu will be seen as a play boy who attracts everyone with his magical speech. He would attract the girls especially and in the process he meets his darling Charmi one fine day but never falls for his magical words. How he wins Charmi’s heart and after winning what happens in the climax is remained to be seen on the screen. Srihari’s Daasannaa on Mar 12, premiere at INOX on Mar 11

Super Ayesha’s Paathshaala on April 9th

The ‘Super’ girl Ayesha Takia, who was recently seen in Bollywood flick ‘Wanted’ (the remake of Pokiri) opposite Salman Khan is now getting ready with yet another Hindi film ‘Paathshala’. The film is directed by Milind Ukey and the story revolves around the school atmosphere. Ayesha has been cast opposite the handsome Shahid Kapoor and also shares screen with other big stars like Nana Patekar and Sunil Shetty.

‘Paathshaala’ speaks about the Indian educational shortcomings. Produced by Shaira Khan, Eros International is bringing this message oriented flick to theaters on 9th of April.

Raavan is a complete film - Vikram

'Raavan’ is the next big film that is going to hit theaters in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. With huge star cast like Abhishek Bachchan, Vikram, Aishwarya Rai, Govinda, Prithvi Raj and Priyamani, Maniratnam is crafting this film based on the epic of Ramayan with modern approach.

Vikram recently spoke to the media and said, “I worked with many great directors so far. But Maniratnam is a special man. My role in ‘Raavan’ is very unique. Although I consider all my films as my soul, particularly in this film I did every scene with great concentration as I wanted my role to appear with perfection. On other hand, Maniratnam too takes great care when it comes to film-making. To tell a few words about Aishwarya Rai, I needn’t have to say that she is beautiful but she appears even more beautiful in this film. Especially in a few scenes one finds like a painting. She is so flexible that I was surprised to see her giving few dance poses with such great ease. ‘Raavan’ is a complete film and am sure that it will reach the expectations of the people from all walks of life.”


Charmi as Indhu on March 19th

After a little gap Charmi is back again to woo the audience with her mesmerizing looks. While her ‘Mayagadu’ is already gearing up for release shortly, her ‘Sye Aata’ also reached the final stage of producion. Yet another film of her is ‘Indhu’, a female centric one under P Vasu’s (Chandramukhi fame) direction has recently completed its dubbing work. Made Lakshman under B B S Studios banner, ‘Indhu’, about a college going girl in Malaysia is hitting screens on March 19th.

Bala is playing the lead role opposite Charmi. Fights choreographed by Peter Heynes is said to be the main highlight. This apart, National Award winner Vidhya Sagar’s musical scores were recently released in the market by Saravana Audio Company. Before the release of the film the unit is planning for a Platinum Disc Function that is likely to occur by this week-end.


Watch Clash of the Titans on April 2nd

'Avatar’ fame Sam Worthington’s 'Clash of the Titans', a 2010 fantasy film directed by Louis Leterrier is all set to hit the global theaters on April 2nd as a 3-D film. Ratna Celluloids banner is bringing this fantasy flick to AP theaters in English, Hindi and Telugu languages. Producer Vasu said, “Clash of the Titans is being made with very high technical standards and rich visuals effects. The story of this film will be in lines with ‘Pathala Bhairavi’ and ‘Kanchukota’. Sam plays the role of a Perseus who is born of a God but raised as a man and helpless to save his family from Hades, a revengeful God of the underworld. How he saves his family by battling the unholy demons is the film about. Other actors in central roles are Ralph Fiennes, Alexa Davalos, Danny Huston, Liam Neeson and Pete Postelthwaite. Music is by Ramin Djawadi - Neil Davidge and cinematography by Peter Menzies.
