Trisha opposite Ravi Teja

Reigning South Indian beauty Trisha, currently busy shooting her debut Hindi film Khatta Meethadirected by her mentor Priyadarshan, has been roped in to play the heroine opposite Ravi Teja in his new Telugu film to be directed by Gopichand, an associate of Seenu Vytla.

Produced by RR Movie Makers, this untitled film will start rolling in February. After the super hit Krishna, this is the second time Trisha teams up with Ravi Teja. More details are awaited.

Meanwhile, according to sources, Trisha plays two different avatars in Khatta Meetha, though it’s not a double role. The plot requires her to play two characters in different time periods, it is said. Unlike Priyadarshan's earlier slapstick comedies with Akshay, Khatta Meetha will be a family film with lots of scope for the actress to perform.
