Leader only in 2010?

Probably this is the fifth time that acclaimed director Shekar Kammula's Daggubati Rana starrerLeader is being postponed this year.

Initially, the film was planned for release on Independence Day (August 15) as the film is set in the backdrop of a relevant social theme, but later, the release was called off and postponed to October 2 (Gandhi Jayanthi).

Then it was postponed to November 1, followed by December 24. The latest we hear is that the film can hit screens only in the first week of January 2010. As of now, Leader would be the first release in the New Year. However, official confirmation is awaited.
